Original Artworks By Francesco Bova

As an artist, I am devoted to crafting original artworks that reflect both emotion and lived experience. Every day in my studio is a new opportunity to research, learn, and transform inspiration into art. Whether I’m painting a portrait, capturing a figure in motion, or interpreting the urban landscape, I strive to embed life into each brushstroke—making every canvas a truly original artwork.

The Practice Behind My Original Artworks

My work is deeply guided by emotional resonance, the beauty of nature, and the wonder of the human form. These themes surface naturally across my original artworks, which are often informed by moments in my life that have left lasting impressions.

Over the years, I’ve refined my artistic voice by participating in courses and workshops in New York, Rome, Perugia, Sydney, and Bathurst. I’ve painted plein air on the streets and vistas of Rome, Morocco, Prague, and Sydney, all of which have contributed unique depth and vibrancy to my original artworks.

Influence flows through the greats—Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Picasso, Giorgio de Chirico, Modigliani, Van Gogh, Francis Bacon, Singer Sargent, Turner, Monet, Gauguin, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec, Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Banksy, and Thierry Guetta. Their legacy reminds me that behind every mark is meaning, and that truly original artworks come from personal truth and creative honesty.
